ARTIST connected Metz and Strasbourg: the energy of the encounter

We return from these four days of pop-up shops in Metz and Strasbourg a little worn out, with a few more kilometres on the clock… But above all, our hearts are filled with energy, emotion and gratitude.

When we imagined this new journey, we had one wild desire: to bring people together, take the time to truly get to know one another, and create a genuine face-to-face encounter. After Paris and Lyon, we wanted to set up in smaller cities, for greater closeness, simplicity and spontaneity. And we had no idea what awaited us.

So many of you came from far away. Some travelled more than a hundred kilometres; others took the train specially for the occasion. We even welcomed visitors from Luxembourg, Nancy, Colmar, Sélestat, Mulhouse and many surrounding villages. And then there is that extraordinary customer who, since our first pop-up shop in Paris in 2024, has not missed a single one!

All these trips “just for us,” all your thoughtful gestures, still have us floating on our little Alsatian cloud, our internal clocks stuck in jet lag.

Above all, what we will remember are these wonderful exchanges. Finally matching your faces to your first names, your questioning looks, our technical terms as we explained things to you, confidences profound or light as a silk veil, life stories told around a colour or a fabric.

And then there were our fits of laughter. Yes, we really laughed a lot! When one customer perfectly imitated the famous “Brigitte’s Tips,” we were all doubled over with laughter! So many little gems make these encounters so lively.

There are also those stories told in passing in the fitting room: garments kept for more than twenty years. Sometimes the addictive phenomenon goes as far as collector’s syndrome: catalogues, boxes, rare pieces… A true textile and artistic heritage. Some of you are also incurable nostalgics, absolutely unable to part with our designs. Even if you no longer wear them, they are closely tied to a moment in your life; they share your secrets.

These testimonials moved us deeply, and even honored us.

What a joy it was also to see you rediscovering older collections, comparing prints, trying on forgotten cuts… And to hear so often this phrase that always warms our hearts:

“It’s even more beautiful in person than in the photo!”

We’ll pass this wonderful compliment on to the whole team.

These few days remind us of one essential thing: behind every order, every message, and every package shipped, there is a person, a story, a sensibility. That is what gives our work its true meaning.

These encounters deeply nourish our creativity. They allow us to see the pieces being worn, felt, and interpreted. They help us listen to your desires, feedback, and emotions. The brand then moves beyond the digital world, becoming tangible, embodied… And above all, collective.

Although we cannot organize this kind of event as often as we dream of—because we remain a small business and creation requires time, care, and precision—we know how essential these rare moments are.

Once again, this suspended moment in the East of our Éden far surpassed the scope of a simple pop-up shop. We deeply felt how much what connects us goes far beyond our expertise and our brand.

Over the years, a true community has grown, first around Aventures des Toiles, then around ARTIST. Seeing it come to life before our eyes—in smiles, conversations, and shared joys—remains an emotion that is difficult to describe.

Thank you to everyone we met in Metz and Strasbourg. This memory will not be fleeting.

Thank you for your warm presence, contagious enthusiasm, and renewed trust over the course of the sessions. Thanks to you, your loyalty dispels the storms of the passing seasons beneath an everlasting sun.

Thank you for the energy you gave us.

We’re returning to Studio BF exhausted but deeply happy, overflowing with the desire to keep going thanks to you and alongside you.

Brigitte and François, our hearts are filled with gratitude for you .

Artist La marque:
