ARTIST: from intuition to creation

At ARTIST, creating a collection is much more than a process: it is an artistic adventure, a constant dialogue between two fascinated creators – Brigitte and François – and the artists who inspire them. Each garment is born from this rare alchemy, a fusion of an aesthetic vision and a visceral commitment to art.

It all starts with a painting, a sculpture, a photograph that triggers a meeting with an artist.

This results in a shared understanding and a common itch: to give new life to an original piece by transforming it into Ready-to-Wear.

This prolific approach is the foundation of the ARTIST concept: making Art-to-Wear a reality, respecting the soul of the work while daring the freedom to transform it.

A collection direction emerges: lines, colors, textures, everything is structured around a theme. Brigitte, trained as a stylist, sketches the first models, François refines the balances, ensuring the coherence of the artistic message. Together, they build the collection plan, a true roadmap for the upcoming presentation.

Everything is thought out, discussed, refined: the mix between highs and lows, the perfect cut, the comfort of movement, the accuracy of a collar, the look and length of a dress. The choice of materials, buttons, prints, is made with extreme rigor, closely aligned with the impact the work has awakened. The bold color defines the overall mood, bounces off the revealed details, and leads into a marine, poetic, or sporty chic universe.

Behind every series, there is also a rigorously well-oiled mechanism. After the drawings comes the time for prototyping, testing, and adjustments.

Nothing is left to chance. Everything is controlled, validated, up to the final sample that will serve as a reference in production.

At the same time, the digital image of the theme is to be created for its launch: filming videos, editing visuals, updating the website, managing social media. Brigitte and François speak out, reveal behind the scenes, tell the story behind each piece. An event that customers eagerly await, curious to discover the new ARTIST mosaic.

Certainly, the process is intense. But it is fueled by an intact passion, a shared enthusiasm. Each work triggers an emotion, each clothing adaptation crystallizes the vision. The whole leads to accomplished collections, shaped by expert, inventive, and sensitive hands.

It is also a community. Partner artists, loyal co-producers, women who dress as if wearing an aesthetic manifesto. At ARTIST, we don't follow trends: we observe them, draw inspiration from them, but we carve our own path. Intuition takes precedence, irreverence is allowed, freedom is celebrated.
