ARTIST opens its “Enchanted Gardens”

Enchantment of colors for this new session that ARTIST is presenting online until September 3!

Delight produced by the work of the painter Pascal HONORÉ who created the very latest sumptuous Women's collection. So lively and timeless, soft and vibrant, this painting has taken on meaning and form(s) at the heart of the ARTIST concept.

They have known each other for more than 15 years and have already worked together. A textile model maker in his early days, Pascal Honoré has retained an attraction to the world of clothing fashion. ARTIST echoes this. The approach and approach correspond to his affinities. The collaboration is simple, fluid, attractive so that everyone finds infinite pleasure.

He himself learned from this world, the gestures of which he has long integrated into his painting. He knows by memory, by instinct, by expertise, how to apply colors, observe light. Obviously 40 years of plastic experience and knowledge of tools partly explain the very essence of his work.

Loved by fabrics and prints, the artist favors materials such as raw, uncoated cotton canvas, the favored support of the famous Indian women who are dear to him.

At the basis of the "Jardins enchantés" collection, the impressive Indian - 5 m high - takes up a challenge: creating a backdrop for a concert ! “The room could have remained vast and cold but there was an interaction between the monumental decor of my only three paintings and the atmosphere released by the baroque music. The audience, the musicians, everyone contributed to the magic of the original and enchanting setting” remembers the creator.

For this performance, he made the ground from successively dried puddles like veils of color. After several passes, he superimposed layers of green, blue, red, worked and reworked the material. Textile pads brought back from India or Iran contributed to the intertwining.

The bottom of this canvas evokes the water lilies in his pond, at home, near the workshop. We see the reflections in the water, the leaves developing between two planes, the underwater and the aerial. Under the spell, we become aware of the desired evolution from blues to greens. Under the influence, we admire the addition of gold as a final touch, until the finality of the structured construction of the painting.

 

 

 

 

ARTIST has energized this abundant florality, particularly highlighted in beauty on each garment offered. The finely balanced color rendering of the prints dazzles. Their intensity, so faithful to the original work, reflects a true technical prowess. The light vibrates from one support to another:

• vibrant on the viscose blend weaves of the dress, tunic or tops,

 

• deep on the mesh of the hoodie, cardigan or soft reversible scarf,
• astonishing in its matte and blended version on the pants as well as on the zipped jacket, subtly fitted. A key piece with a “sheepskin” feel, its red fleece lining reassures you of its comfort and warm powers.
