Pop-up boutiques, lasting encounters: ARTIST in Metz and Strasbourg

Boutiques éphémères, rencontres durables : ARTIST à Metz et Strasbourg

After several successful experiences in Paris and then in Lyon, Brigitte and François wanted to try a new formula for ARTIST: To meet their community differently, in a lighter, more mobile, and more spontaneous format as well.

Always challenge the routine, imagine further, change within continuity, in their image.

One week, two cities, two carefully chosen spaces... And this dual and even desire to create a connection around the Art-à-Porter collections.

Since the creation of ARTIST, meetings have played an essential role in the brand's history.

Show the actual pieces, let them try them on, hear the reactions, exchange around the prints, the materials, or simply share a human moment:

these are precious moments that Brigitte and François truly love. Tireless, insatiable, they crave more.

But behind these movements also lies a very concrete reality: the collections to imagine, the photoshoots to prepare, the artistic collaborations, The ongoing developments, the dozens of projects advancing in parallel. There are many construction sites, many travels, and it becomes difficult to multiply pop-up shops throughout the year.

However, one thing remains essential in their eyes: to be present themselves. There is no question of organizing events without meeting you.

ARTIST was built on exchange and proximity, and this human dimension remains at the heart of every intention.

It is in this spirit that this conceptual trip was born: two vibrant and close urban centers, in the same week, at locations chosen for their atmosphere and personality.

A completely artistic journey.

For this first "East" edition, Brigitte and François chose Metz and Strasbourg, which they know well and particularly cherish.

Strasbourg first, where they come every year for the incoThe must-attend event "ST-ART," a pioneering fair of European contemporary art.

An inspiring, creative, elegant region, where ARTIST naturally finds its place.

Then Metz, for its historic center, its discreet energy, not to mention the Centre Pompidou Metz, an iconic cultural site they love to visit.

Furthermore, let’s recall an older story. A few years earlier, their brand at the time "Aventures des Toiles" already had its own boutiques in Metz as well as in Strasbourg.
Returning today to these traces has something special, tinged with nostalgia, a sentimental return.

In Metz, the ephemeral showroom will take place in an unexpected and charming location at the city’s exit:

The Domaine de la Grange aux Ormes, located on the street of the same name in Marly.

Brigitte and François will welcome you there:

  • On Tuesday, June 16 from 11 AM to 7 PM
  • On Wednesday, June 17 from 9:30 AM to 7 PM

In Strasbourg, ARTIST will set up in the heart of the Décorde Art Gallery, at 5 rue de Molsheim.

Opening:

  • On Thursday, June 18 from 11 AM to 7 PM
  • On Friday, June 19 from 9:30 AM to 7 PM

The purpose, the beautiful goal of these days is simple: to take the time to meet.

Discovering the new collection in preview, talking about the creations, seeing the pieces "in real life," touching them, trying them on, checking the cuts, the good drape, the right fit…

Discussing a pattern or a silhouette… Everything that ultimately enriches a physical meeting and that no screen will ever replace.

For the occasion, several models from previous collections will also be presented in different sizes.

Some may be directly taken home if heart to heart and a stroke of luck come together.

These rare and dreamt occasions are not thought of as mere ephemeral boutiques.

These are above all parentheses, bubbles, or breaths. ARTIST shares what it loves most: creating living and spontaneous connections around its sensitive and artistic universe.

From June 16 to 19, a busy week is ahead. Juggling preparations and kilometers, the highlights and warm reunions, one of the lively and spontaneous moments of sharing.

A dedicated tour, a focus on the East, a tailored program to which Brigitte and François remain very attached.
