Colors, shapes, fabrics: Fall-Winter 2026-2027 brings echoes of past Artist collections. L’s a chance to bring out a few beloved pieces, discover new ones, and above all, see that being on trend never means you can’t take a different path.
The season we’re entering embraces contrasts. Natural shades, earthy browns, mineral grays, and ecru are matched by bold, deep tones. Silhouettes oscillate between enveloping volumes and structured lines. The fabrics invite you to touch them: wool, generous knits, leather-like finishes, soft or luxurious textures play with shine and fluidity.
Naturalness and sophistication, protection and sensuality, neutrals and bursts of color: some of the major trends announced.
At Artist, naturally, they speak to us.
We believed in corduroy and used it for “Secret Garden” in a timeless navy jacket-and-trousers set or dress.
Looking in the rearview mirror, some seem surprisingly familiar. As if they had quietly stood the test of time. And then there are the others, the ones that keep doing what Artist loves so much: taking a different path.

Plum, eggplant, amethyst… The whole family is set to feel right at home this winter. Yet back in September 2024, the “Purple Color” collection had already made it the heart of its wardrobe.
Bright or deep, purples warmed up outfits with a pop or vintage touch. Velvet played with its sheen, while an impeccably tailored pair of trousers made a vibrant, ultra-chic statement in purple.
Two years later? Nothing to take away. These colors even find a new resonance in this season’s palettes. If you already own one of these pieces, Artist recommends bringing it back out!
But perhaps in a different way? Pair violet with brown, gray, or ecru, set it against a new texture, temper its exuberance with a neutral, or fully embrace its magnetic presence.
“A Reimagined World” was already bringing deep blues, pink, and sky blue together in 2025, while “All Together” continued this chromatic freedom through transparencies and vivid tones.
At Artist, color doesn’t just come from the spirit of the times. It comes from a work of art, an emotion, an encounter with an artist. That may be why it ages so well.
LWinter 2026-2027 embraces both cozy refuge clothing - enveloping volumes, layers, warmth - and more structured silhouettes.
In “A Reimagined World,” the cuts already played with this versatility, sometimes fluid, sometimes structured. The stirrup pants, fitted at the hips, accented with a crease and lined with fine fleece, could almost have been designed to answer this desire for protection and sophistication.
The cardigan tells this story of freedom too. Solid, printed, whimsical, sometimes crafted like a little jacket, it changes its look depending on what you pair it with.
So, before looking for something new, change up the pairing! A cardigan once worn with its matching trousers can be paired with a new solid color; a print can be softened with a natural tone; a solid cardigan can balance a bolder pattern.
Reporting isn’t repeating.
This winter, fabric should be seen, felt, and make you want to touch it.
The suede-look trousers from “Winter Solids” play exactly this card: peach-skin feel, a hint of fuzziness, and a cigarette cut.
The velvet in “Purple Hues” gives plums and aubergines all their depth.
In “A Reimagined World,” fabric becomes a cocoon: brushed fleece, soft knit, second-skin jersey. “Next to the Skin” chooses boiled wool, warm and protective, for an ice-blue jacket with a beautifully defined A-line, whose printed lining reminds us that an Artist garment may look demure at first glance, but can be hiding a secret.
“In Good Company” favors embossed jacquard and intense black, somewhere between matte and glossy.
The 2026-2027 trends are putting the pleasure of fabrics center stage again. Artist has never really stopped loving them.
On trend… And then a step to the side.
Still, it would be a shame to revisit the Artist collections only to look for what matches the 2026-2027 trends exactly.
Because that’s only half the story.
L’s other side begins precisely where Artist steps away from it: an unexpected print, an artistic detail, a color that stands out just enough.
Being on trend without disappearing into it.
And if you already own these pieces, open your wardrobe: wear them, wear them again, but above all, reinvent them. Send us photos, tag us on social media: nothing would make us happier!
As for those who may have missed them, Artist produces thoughtfully, without overproduction. A few pieces sometimes remain after our exchanges: one size here, another there. Enough for rare encounters to remain possible.
The jacquard jacket from “In Good Company,” the boiled wool jacket from “Close to the Skin,” the stirrup pants from “A Reimagined World.” Finding a piece imagined yesterday today and realizing it has lost none of its relevance is a lovely way to put timelessness to the test. A trend inspires a desire. Style decides what to do with it.
Sometimes, Artist is right on trend. Sometimes, Artist takes a step to the side. And very often, the two meet in the same silhouette.
On trend, yes. But never quite like everyone else.

Artist La marque:
