When Isabelle Hervé talks about her work and her complicity with Brigitte and François, the artist of the month,
depicts a tree well rooted in the fertile soil of artistic creation.
Those who follow the journey of the founders of Artist probably have the impression of
know them too! From the origin of the avant-garde concept, it is its figurative painting and
shimmering which was a precursor.
Since her first “full canvas” characters, the painter in perpetual movement has never stopped dialoguing with HUMAN, the common thread. From stage to period, the subject has changed pace, attitude or place but it always calls out. There have been stories littered with central scenes with accents of nonchalance, blurred ghostly beings, anonymous people in the crowd, lonely silhouettes,... We identify ourselves or we recognize the other...
Her keen and delicate sense of observation, her fascination with the contemplation of humankind led her to paint people quite naturally. Change of framing, height gain, bird's eye view, the artist breathes in a west wind, sketches a choreography, places a few words...
Old road maps led her to a recent series from which “Presqu’île” is taken. Suggested life scenes from the toiles de Jouy, characters in seaside costumes have in turn inspired Brigitte and François for this revisited marine theme and presented in a brand new session from January 15 to 24, 2021.

Born in 1968 in Brittany, Isabelle HERVÉ has devoted herself to her art since the end of the 90s. She lives and works in Paris; exhibits mainly in France and Belgium. Technique: acrylic and collages.

Je ne connaissais pas l’artiste… fidèle d’Aventure des toiles depuis ses débuts je reconnais la toile de la lectrice dont j’ai eu un teeshirt et dans les dernières collections j’ai acheté pantalon tee-shirt et cardigan des personnages qui sont sur une plage avec des parasols mais je ne savais pas que c’était d’Isabelle Hervé. La présentation par François et Brigitte de l’artiste est un vrai plus car depuis je m’intéresse plus à l’histoire du vêtement à partir de quoi vous êtes partis pour choisir le thème de vos collections non seulement on achète plus responsable mais on se « cultive » … Je vais craquer pour le cardigan c’est sur et j’hésite encore sur la marinière ou sur un des tops… j’ai le week-end maussade pour réfléchir. Comme on ne peut plus prendre plaisir à faire les boutiques car 10 boutiques égale 10 couches de gel hydroalcoolique sur les mains et bien vos présentations en live sont un vrai bonheur… continuez à nous faire rêver.
