Art and Fashion: A Unique Fusion at Artist
Their sources of creation are multiple. Their inspiration comes from various currents of thought, abundant artistic movements, and the cultural world in a broad sense.
The two inventive co-founders of Artist immerse themselves in everything that Culture has to offer to see and feel.
Live performance, visual arts, contemporary or ancient art, the 7and art, theater, music, dance...
Absolutely everything sows seeds in their imagination.
Brigitte, DOLCE and GABBANA exhibition.
For them, between art and fashion, there is only a step to take, a bridge to cross, ties to be made.
Their know-how consists precisely in bringing them together wonderfully.
These two distinct universes are inseparable from their profession: the artistic fashion they sign.
François, DOLCE ET GABBANA exhibition at the Grand Palais.
The artist knows how to disrupt cultural and clothing codes.
Their concept is in itself a true work of art to wear. an inspired and inspiring ready-to-wear artistic piece...
Would this positioning be perceived as art? As fashion? Both?
"For as long as anyone can remember, art and fashion have influenced each other."
Creators like Yves Saint Laurent with his tribute to Mondrian or Elsa Schiaparelli and her collaborations with Dalí are perfect examples. Dolce and Gabbana as well.

The artist is not only part of this same approach but demonstrates it at every presentation of an astonishing collection.
Countless are the common points between the artistic spirit of the brand and its original fashion.
His whimsical couture style is reflected model after model. Synonymous with color, revealing exclusive prints, embroidered details, or topstitching.
absolutely everything contributes to the enhancement of the material and the cut.
Brigitte and François, at the origin and at the heart of Studio BF, provoke unusual, improbable encounters between artists and women's clothing.
They turn to all artistic practices, all aesthetic, poetic, or fanciful representations that could be reborn through the grace of a fabric.
"Architecture, drawing, engraving, sculpture, ceramics, glasswork, all creative performances nourish the potential transformation of an original work into unique women's clothing."
Chicharu SHIOTA, a Japanese artist that Brigitte and François have been following for years.
Associations of talent, creativity, and emotions, their collections arise from these fabulous collaborations that enchant and do good.
The artist does not fail to take us on a journey through their magical realism drawn from works that only they know how to unearth and reveal again and differently.
Because they establish a constructive dialogue, each collaboration allows a simple outfit to be transformed into a true artistic manifesto.
Respecting the original work does not limit their freedom of exploration to achieve new masterpieces. These associations help bring art into everyday life.
"Sewn from pieces combining creativity and comfort. When art inspires textiles, clothing becomes a work in its own right, embodying the power of a form of expression, a way to wear and live art."
Whether it is an exclusive pattern, a cut inspired by an artistic movement, or an innovative textile approach, each collection is conceived as a dialogue between fashion and art.
Artist tells a true visual and emotional story. Wearing Artist is to assert a personality, an artistic sensitivity, and a different approach to fashion.
"It is making the choice of a wardrobe dressed with a soul and authenticity."
"With these creative complicities and its committed vision, Artist redefines the tenuous link between Art and Fashion."
