Pre-ordering is co-producing

When you pre-order at ARTIST, you are not just buying a garment. You become a part of a collective creation. Your order directly finances the production: you participate in the birth of each piece, in its rational production process, in its journey from the workshop to your wardrobe.

It is a positive, responsible, conscious approach. A textile co-production.

Less, but better: a reasoned model

To produce only what is ordered, with a slight surplus for exchanges: this is the rule. This method allows us:

• to manage raw materials, accessories,
• to drastically reduce waste,
• to avoid textile overproduction,
• to respecting the human resources of the chain, our partners and collaborators.

We do not claim to be perfect, but every decision at ARTIST is guided by ethics. If a fabric does not meet our specifications, if a supplier does not correspond  more to our environmental or social demands, we renounce. Without compromise.

Waiting as a lifestyle choice

Buying in preorder also means saying no to instantaneity. It is choosing a rhythm that is undoubtedly slower but so much more sensible.

Cécile, our production manager, follows each step of the manufacturing process and shares behind-the-scenes with you. The whole difference lies in this reassuring climate of transparency. Alicia pays extra attention to maintain a human connection, ensuring unconditional availability and finding a fair solution, a way for relationships to endure.

An eco-responsible act, a pact of trust

ARTIST prioritizes natural materials: cotton, linen, wool… selected for their comfort and durability. We work with demanding European manufacturers. We prioritize real quality over false marketing virtue.

Yes, some fabrics are not organic, but we refuse absurd compromises, like organic cotton dyed on the other side of the world with polluting processes. Another example, viscose returns in the composition of our tops and dresses, ensuring fluidity and well-being. Our certified specialists guarantee its unequivocal traceability.

Our packaging has been designed to last: zero plastic, recycled cardboard, reusable boxes — for a shipment that is as beautiful as it is ethical.
