When the forest becomes a creative workshop

Quand la forêt devient atelier de création

In “On the Road to Moustiers,” the trees no longer merely line the path of creation. In this digital work, born from a suspended moment, they become silhouettes. Their blazing foliage draws volumes, their bark suggests textures, while ochres, coppers, deep reds, and luminous golds compose a palette in which your autumn will reveal all its nobility.

In their composition halfway between photography and painting, Brigitte and François transform what lay before their eyes one day during a shoot for an entirely different theme. Light flows through every nuance, the sky converses with the earth, and nature heralds the bold expressions of your next fiery season.

At ARTIST, a work never stops at the frame that contains it. It continues its journey. All they had to do was return to Burgundy to understand that one collection can conceal another. Colors become prints, movements inspire cuts, and plays of light metamorphose into materials, ultimately giving birth to an Art-to-Wear collection.

An autumn wardrobe where landscapes take their place on the fabric, where the flamboyant hues of the undergrowth meet feminine lines, and where each design extends the emotion of this creative stroll.

From July 17 to 26, 11 pieces will irresistibly tempt you to pre-order. You will wear them in November, as if nature and creativity had chosen to move at the same pace.

Plants often infuse ARTIST’s creative universe. In “On the Road to Moustiers,” trees and foliage extend the living world onto the fabric, offering you the pleasure of contemplating it as much as being contemplated. At ARTIST, bringing them into a work and then into a collection is a celebration of the deep bond between people and the landscape, right down to the way they dress you.

With their heads immersed in their creations, François and Brigitte explore their latest women’s ready-to-wear capsule collection among the racks.

The blouse revisits the military shirt with confident femininity. Its trapeze cut, shoulder tabs, patch pockets, and collar without a collar stand create a fluid silhouette. Its print gradually fades into a solid color.

The plain cotton/elastane trousers pick up the same shade to create a perfectly coordinated outfit. Dense, they follow suit with beautiful drape and structure. Their peacock blue intensifies against the highly comfortable peach-skin finish.

The lightweight, stretchy jersey-knit shirt adopts a slightly tunic-like shape that accentuates its fluidity. A subtle iridescent sheen enlivens the print’s hues and reveals the radiance of the viscose.

The top and skirt, made from the same knit, naturally extend the print’s gradient. Moving from top to bottom, together they create the illusion of a dress while remaining two separate pieces.

Developed with the Lyon-based weaver who partners with ARTIST for its exclusive designs, the jacquard dresses both the sleeveless dress and the jacket, fully lined with red knit. Embroidery and meticulous finishing create a charming dialogue between the two pieces.

DTwo cardigans join the runway.
The first, in thick, plain knit enriched with wool, warms with its orangey red and expressive embroidery. The next one borrows the look of a blazer while retaining the comfort of knitwear. Printed, chic yet relaxed, it remains casual, enveloping, and easy to wear.

The coat watches over you and effectively protects you from the cold. Long, made of felted wool, fully lined and generously cut, it even fastens over a chunky sweater. The embroidery, contrasting buttons, and lining elegantly follow the red thread running through this leafy world.

The whimsical top introduces a new fine jersey knit that is especially warm thanks to its 28% wool. Combined with lyocell, it remains incredibly soft and does not itch at all. Fine gray-blue fringes highlight the landscape.

As so many forests suffer from drought and are severely tested by fires, seeing them weakened reminds us how closely our own balance is tied to theirs. Trees symbolize an essential balance between breath and living memory.

From July 17 to 26, let the road to Moustiers surprise you.
