Romaine, body and heart for ARTIST

October 17 25 – Shooting of the "All together" collection based on the work of Anne Goujaud.

Sitting on a stool, naturally, she is as beautiful as the dawn with which she rose. Romaine quietly drinks her coffee while Fred does her makeup and hair. They have known each other since her beginnings; she knows she is in the best hands.

After a few months' absence, she returns to the spotlight of ARTIST. Simple, spontaneous, and so radiant, one might think that nothing has changed. Yet her recent motherhood gives her an immense smile of a 21st-century Madonna. She now counts one more man in her life, happiness.

Once prepared, she will take action, focused and ready to pose in every way. On the theme "All together", she warmly reunites with the Art-à-Porter team who were waiting for her eagerly. Before trying on the models from this latest collection, in this gentle transition before the shoot, she candidly shares her perception of ARTIST.

"A brand that makes you want to move, to be active. It's not a timid fashion; on the contrary: very visual, colorful, inventive. I love the combination of differentiation and femininity embodied in the ARTIST concept, its values. There is a real sense of community. We finds inclusion, equity, diversity.

Over 15 years of collaboration, our exchanges have expanded to all aspects of life. We work in total trust, in interaction.

(Above the cliffs of Estérel. Shooting of the Romance collection.)

ARTIST and Romaine combine what is unique, human, and alive. Their energies attract each other, their visions align amplified by a contagious enthusiasm.

( After the effort, comfort... at the port of Cassis, end of the Wonderland shoot.)

The brand fond of extravagant photo/video shoots never worries about the complexity of the challenge. The qualities of the job, her muse possesses them all. She immediately finds the posture equipped with a good ability to adapt to any situation.

(Preparation and change in the freshness of the early morning, on the roof of a kasbah in Aït Ben Haddou, in Morocco. Collection Au fil de lin. )

ARTIST is sensitive to dance, Romaine is also a professional dancer. She embodies vitality, grace. Her gestures mix genres: classical, contemporary, Flamenco, Jazz. She unfolds her body and all her strong personality.

For the theme “Artic” (work by Estelle Boullier), she is filmed on a mini-choreography that she improvises immediately to electro music.

On the same shoot, at the house of climates in Beaune, she does not hesitate to straddle the parapet to place herself in a precarious balance outside this building, shaped like a vine twist, launched towards the sky. Adrenaline overcomes vertigo.

ARTIST is sensitive to sports, Romaine boxes, swims, runs. Tireless, she hops on her mountain bike. She withstands all schedules, the most outrageous conditions.

ARTIST is sensitive to cinema, she is also an actress. She has acted in “l’Origine de la violence” by Élie Chouraqui and in “Yves Saint-Laurent” by Jalil Lespert.

Beyond her photogenic quality, she instinctively understands where to go, she enters the story of the moment. She has the stature to manage the highs and lows of an intense day, and always her intact beauty surpasses the plastic.

ARTIST is sensitive to the south, she comes from Ardèche and reflects these wild spaces. When taken to Morocco for the theme “Au fil de lin” (canvas by Catherine Danou), her sensual and sunny silhouette captivates the ochres of the ksar of Aït-Ben-Haddou. Despite the low temperatures on the slopes of the High Atlas, she reflects the morning light, both dazzling.

ARTIST is sensitive to the mountain, she lives at the foot of Mont-Blanc and measures herself against its mythical climbing routes when she is not wearing skis.

An ascent to over 3,300 m on the Helbronner peak, on the Italian side. For the clichés of the series “ Of ice and colors” (painting Claire de Chavagnac), she takes narrow passages, well roped. Listening to the very vigilant guide, she fearlessly steps away from the crevasses. She doesn't lack breath when it's time to remove the crampons against old ski boots. for the needs of the photo. The crazy and unusual places amuse her.

((Shooting with a small team with Jean-Luc Petit, photographer, Brigitte and François, Dimitri our guide, and Romaine.)

Out of season, a layer of snow unusually cools Santorini that year. Romaine withstands the assaults of the icy wind in a fine knit tank top. Between each summer model, she takes refuge behind a low wall, bundled up from head to toe in a competition down jacket. But at the click, her shivering features change in the blink of an eye. In all the images of "Getting Lost in Blue", it's hard to tell. (painting by Catherine Cazau).

( Photo of the summer skirt, collection Getting Lost in Blue, taken in negative temperature.)

(Preparation of the same photo, a few minutes earlier, in search of warmth.)

ARTIST is sensitive to gastronomy, Romaine is greedy. She eats healthy, local, and seasonal, without deprivation. She eliminates, her figure is proof of that.

1.74 m, light green eyes, size 36, Romaine ticks all the boxes of an eclectic femininity. Modern, sophisticated, chic or sportswear, her multifaceted style ranges from incendiary to delicate.

This massive seduction weapon began in her teenage years for fashion shows of merchants in Aubenas, her hometown. She won the contest of the magazine "20 ans" and subsequently worked for the very well-known agency Karin Models. She has since been chaining contracts with brands in Ready-to-Wear, sports, lingerie, and swimwear, skincare, and cosmetics. Her network works well, based on her professionalism, flexibility, and patience that she has learned to channel.

Your routine, your secrets?

"I wake up early, I need some quiet time for myself. Outside of work, I still do my eyes for a bright look and I hydrate a lot."

And dance?

"I dedicate myself to it as a priority. It anchors me: movement keeps me in my body. I have practiced this discipline since I was very young, I became a professional 10 years ago and have been teaching since 2019. I created the association Ballando, I fully invest myself with often seasoned amateurs. We perform in shows, festivals, performances, and events.

I am launching an important project for 2026: a video on the Mer de Glace, combining creation and raising awareness about climate change. I want to promote art and the mountains. To show other bodies than those of athletes.
Most of the time, I imagine the choreographies but this experience will be collective. This ecological and artistic approach will translate the group's expression entirely.Instagram : @ballando74 – Facebook : Romainecochet

Francine.
