From a work of art to clothing design, this is how we make our difference!

Step 1. MEETING WITH THE ARTISTS AND CHOICE OF WORK

This is where the story of a garment begins. We set out to discover new artists and their worlds. Painters, sculptors, visual artists, photographers...we are curious and do not limit horizons! We visit their workshops in order to understand their work and thus draw inspiration from it for our textile creations.
For the session from April 10 to 20, we chose the work of Mathilde de Bellecombe , which inspired the OASIS collection.

Step 2. CREATING PATTERNS AND PRINTS

From a work, we design prints and models while respecting the artist’s universe. We then select the materials and accessories selected from our suppliers. Then we define the range of colors that will illustrate the theme.

Step 3. CREATION OF PATTERNS AND PROTOTYPES

From our drawings and selected materials, the pattern maker creates a pattern. Then a seamstress will cut and assemble the model to bring it to life. This first prototype will be tried in order to see how well the garment fits, how the material hangs and thus validate the style of the model. If any adjustments need to be made, another prototype will be made.

We try and redo, until it’s perfect. These stages are carried out in Burgundy thanks to our entire network of followers.

Step 4. YOU PRE-ORDER THE CLOTHES.

During this stage, it's up to you! The session is open until April 20.
The concept of Artist with its pre-order financing solution is part of the logic of crowdfunding because thanks to you, the “co-producers”, the financing needs are covered and this system guarantees the independence of the brand.

Rest assured, our model proposal corresponds to the receipt period and not the order period. For example, if we launch a sale in mid-April, our delivery is scheduled for mid-July so the items are summer pieces!

Step 5. MANUFACTURING OUR RAW MATERIALS

Once the sales sessions are over, we purchase the raw materials.

All our raw materials are 100% of European origin, mainly French, from the Lyon region, and Italian, from the Como region, where the best printers in the world have existed for centuries.

Our fabrics from France and Italy will be woven or knitted on demand then they will be printed with our exclusive designs. These drawings will have been studied beforehand by us in order to improve material consumption compared to cutting placement. If the fabrics are plain, they will be dyed and washed directly by our suppliers.

This stage lasts 8 weeks (between receiving the yarns, weaving the materials, printing, washing and shipping the fabrics).

Step 6. ASSEMBLY OF OUR ITEMS

As soon as we receive the raw materials, we ship them to our manufacturers. They carefully study the prototypes we have made in order to reproduce the finishes we want. They faithfully respect the editing choices that we indicate to them. Mesh or warp and weft, their know-how is immense.

The making of the clothes lasts 3 weeks.

Step 7. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

The long-awaited final step: the garment is ready to be sent. Twelve weeks have passed and your package has arrived safely.

We are well aware that 12 weeks may seem a long time, but it is the extra "time" that is so precious that we ask of you in order to maintain our independence to carry out quality work close to your desires.

Please know that throughout this time we will keep you informed of all progress, that is also the Artist experience.
