2026: the ARTIST momentum

A colossal project has been engaging Brigitte and François for six months now and is entering its realization phase today.

In 2026, the two co-founders will celebrate the 6th anniversary of their Art-à-Porter concept. This anniversary has disrupted some foundations, including the overhaul of their showcase and access points. An opportunity to shift the lines and refresh their way of presenting themselves, both visually and technically.

To achieve this, they have invited other external contributors in addition to the digital team that has been supporting them for several years! Together, they have embarked on creating a more efficient website, a more current graphic image, and to mark this turning point, they have redesigned the contours of the logo in a brand new environment.

Originally, the ARTIST site was designed primarily for computer viewing. Six years later, usage has changed profoundly: nearly 80% of visits are now via smartphone. Upon closer inspection, they observed that mobile navigation was not optimal. In their 2026 proposal, this point of improvement is a major priority.

On the other hand, pre-orders mostly take place on computers or tablets. Nevertheless, they have adapted almost two sites in parallel, with different usage logics depending on the devices. One could almost believe it is easy!

It should also be noted that each new collection involves a significant transformation of the site, much like in a store where merchandising changes, including items, decoration, and displays... At each launch, the teams responsible for photos and videos, the digital team, as well as Brigitte and François, carry out considerable work, often under very tight deadlines.

Beyond that, ARTIST aims to preserve and strengthen a customer service based on contact, humanity, and understanding. Alicia oversees this aspect with great professionalism. It is decided: no robots or artificial intelligence for the sales service. They all come from direct contact and are keen to maintain this human dimension.

The downside of this decision: responses are not always instantaneous. Their small team cannot ensure a presence 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Their core business remains, of course, creation, research, and know-how. They strive to offer a real difference whether in forms, materials, or artistic proposals.

Ten collections a year, in the style and vision of ARTIST, involves innovation, questioning, and renewal. The approach, the hand, the method are unique to ARTIST, and there is no question of abandoning what makes the brand successful. Brigitte and François know the level of demand to reach in order to continuously move, advance, propose, and take risks.

Thus, within these ten themes, they explore ten subjects in tune with the times, even if the clothing retains its timelessness. The stylistic choices evolve: bold patterns sometimes become more subtle, more in shades. This is the idea of the moment.

This will be seen at the next session "The Blue Words" presented on January 23. It will be followed by a summer series in warm and vibrant colors evoking the sun, and then, after years of promises, a summer wardrobe in black and white, blending elegance and relaxation.

The "permanents" have also changed their name to become "the Unis". To understand the principle well, it must be reiterated that industrial suppliers impose minimum production quantities. In this context, it is impossible to renew certain references during the season, which sometimes leads to definitive shortages. Even when ARTIST works with artisans or craftspersons, the volume limits do not escape the rule.

For example, last winter some pieces like the plum pants or the blue cardigan were "permanents" only within the limits of available stock. When there was an inability to deliver, the poorly suited term no longer made much sense. That is why, for the sake of clarity, Brigitte and François chose to rename them more wisely "the Unis".

These solid articles are designed to match both upcoming collections and previous ones. They notably offer pants in specific fabrics, exclusively ARTIST. This completely solid range is envisioned as an alternative to the more marked pieces of the ten seasonal sessions. The next sale of the "Unis" for summer will take place on Friday, March 6, 2026.

All these projects have consumed all the time and a large part of the energy of everyone at ARTIST. This absorption explains why there has not been a pop-up store for a year. They themselves have been the first deprived of seeing you, because above all, they really enjoy meeting you.

They still plan a week in Paris during the year 2026, in another form, as well as shorter proposals in other French cities.

Do not hesitate to write to Brigitte and François to share your impressions, wishes, or ideas, even and especially if they are a bit quirky. They are very attentive to this.

Reminder of the artists' competition!

Before January 9, artists can register for free online and can propose up to 2 works with a detailed registration form to complete.

Between January 11 and 18, each juror will vote for their 3 favorite works.

Between January 21 and February 1: final public vote open to the entire community via the newsletter, based on the 25 best-placed works. Each voter must designate 3 works.

Monday, February 2: announcement of the final result on our digital magazine and by email.

    Dans les collections, nous faire découvrir des artistes contemporains, voir l’œuvre choisie déclinée en vêtements originaux… quel plaisir !
    Serait-il imaginable de créer des accessoires en accord avec les collections ? Il y a déjà l’écharpe, mais que dire de ceintures, sacs en tout genre, chapeaux divers assortis… le tout en tissus bien sûr.
    C’est mon amour des chapeaux et sacs qui probablement me pousse à le demander, haha :)
