ÉCLOSION: ARTIST LE STUDIO BF IS INSPIRED BY A PRINT

 The request for the Art-à-Porter brand initially surprised her. But the visual artist was able to remain very open, believing that these two artistic directors were replaying her score. With this exception to her (previous) rules, Tatjana believes she has released a new creation and that it therefore makes sense.

The print predestined for the future clothing series, resulting from a very personal technical development, has therefore moved away somewhat from its universe to allow itself to be shaped on the fabric.

Like the painter's creative process, the stylistic duo works above all on feelings. The steps are similar. When the first creates the matrix, the other two draw the silhouettes, design the patterns…

Then arises the desire for a major color, and/or other secondary ones which lead to inking to end up under the press. Same thing at the BF studio.

The pictorial work is completed when the balance is there. Simply. Gaps provide breathing. Energy is expelled in shapes and color.

Another analogy, ARTIST completes a collection when harmony operates precisely. Raw materials, colors, volumes, look. They know it's ready because everything fits together.

Today, launch day, François G. is on the switchboard. At ARTIST, they all take turns during the 10 days of each session to be in contact, hear everything, experience everything live with each client. Soak up comments, respond to questions, advise. This is important for improving collections.

As he explains, to enter the beautiful season, they wanted calm, zenitude, suavity and grace. We love at Tatjana Labossière this communion of few colors. The delicate shades of transparent colored prints. The shapes and contours of floral sketches, the expression of vital energy born from nature.

This movement gives the impression that everything could fly away. No doubt what inspired the choice of the shooting location “Les Moulins à Vent de Consuegra” near Toledo in Spain.

Tatjana's painting has delicately inspired us with ideas and brought to fruition an ever more exclusive creation. Our work naturally focused on the many shades of pearl gray, the freshness of chlorophyll green associated with the complementary tones of refined and luminous red.

The result revolves around our latest creations:

• 1 square of silk faithful to the intensity of the original colors on both sides. To wear in the hair, at the waist, as a pareo...
• 1 long printed top, adjusted by chest darts which slightly gather the fluid viscose, pleasant like a second skin...
• 1 mesh top printed on high-end cotton lycra…
• 1 loose top in viscose and boat neck…
• 2 cardigans to multiply the combinations. One to put on as a top or to layer in a twin-set style. The other with knitted and plain lace effects.
• 1 dressin cupro with a soft, fresh and silky touch. It’s back because we love its eco-friendly qualities and low water consumption. Remember the articles in Q1 last year. ARTIST had already used this fabric in the Spring-Summer 2022 collections of Alione “Le port de Cassis” and Catherine Cazau “Getting lost in the blue.”

• 1 pair of pants 7/8 solid pearl gray, bordered with a monochrome satin braid on the outside of the legs, and structured by a topstitched rib at the front. Reread the blog from February 5.
