THE GREAT ROADS

Painting Provence: high the colors! That’s signed ISABELLE MERLET.DRESSING from Provence: high in colors! That’s signed ARTIST.

This artistic collaboration proposes "The great paths," a collection of Art-à-Porter the painted landscape then crafted to inhabit it better. To soak it in, to embrace it, to wear it.

A session resembling a sensory journey from November 28 to December 7, 2025.

The painter has already experienced her painting being taken up, broken, transformed on earthenware.

Seduced and amused, she let herself be led down the textile path that ARTIST interprets in a clothing collection for a very stylish upcoming summer.

Yes, Studio BF has taken the great paths it has covered with fabrics and threads without detour. Enhanced with embroidery stitches and ribbons, the work has taken on another dimension.

Ten women's ready-to-wear models to experience 100% Provence, set to the mood by ARTIST. A summer wardrobe to disconnect and take the time to live at your own pace, rocked by the South and its art of living.

The universe of ISABELLE MERLET printed all-over for a breathtaking view, or decomposed on inserts. We’ll tell you more:

The top of the dress carries the landscape that gives it its elegant character.

The sweatshirt is a perfect reproduction, a sweater offset by its edges and contrasting bands.

Two cardigans offer the choice between the solid version or the bold pattern.

On the stretchy, ultra-comfortable chic pants, one can coordinate the jacket that is halfway between a bomber and a safari jacket.

The variety of collars offers tops with a round neckline, V-neck, or boat.

On printed tulle, a pleated accordion top discreetly highlights distinctive folding lines. Preformed, they will remain permanent.

ARTIST has reconstructed the colorful effects of the painting. The juxtaposition of blue, ochre, and a revisited mauve tone creates a balanced, harmonious agreement to the eye. Each shade has its place, its breath, its intensity. The subtlety of this feminine range rests on the contrasts of tones and the tensions between colors of the same clarity.

At its peak, when July generously unfolds its blue gold, the Valensole plateau stretches endlessly in the splendor of its violet robe.

It is in this majestic setting that ISABELLE MERLET lives, hikes, and returns to her studio to paint the dominant elegance of this changing nature. Throughout the seasons, the gifts of the earth and sky offer her spectacles unlike any others.A few almond trees, apple trees, Truffle oaks punctuate and animate these vast flat expanses of crops. In the middle flow the rows of lavender whose nectar attracts the bees.

In the front row of this panorama, she scrutinizes the horizon, observes the blooms, inhales the richness of the aromas and fragrances of her region. Isabelle inhales, exhales, draws inspiration, and breathes out her production.

In the gallery, from the very first minutes of contemplation, a delicate and sweet note, a fresh scent of cologne, could almost evaporate.

This ancestral scent recalls the precious legend of the little fairy Lavandula, the discreet and benevolent guardian of Provence's lavender.

Its Crystallized tears gave birth to the first fields of fine lavender in Provence. Everywhere they had moistened the earth, fragrant stems emerged, in a tender violet, carriers of sweetness and serenity.

The designer sketches a few outlines, but above all, the colorist remembers everything. Instinctively, she reproduces a delightful blend of reality and her emotions. Her knives follow the course of her intuitions and create a spontaneous oil painting, deliberately simplified. The gesture suggests touches of blue on green: one imagines the plant. The Mistral weaves through the large grassy masses, polishing the sky with an azure brilliance... The power of its breath gives the figurative canvas areas, layers of abstraction.

On the theme "The Great Paths," ARTIST's work could be compared to enfleurage. Brigitte and François extracted the spirit, technique, and theme of the painter ISABELLE MERLET. They managed to capture its essence and apply it to the heart of their couture concept.
