Vegetal Murmur or how the next ARTIST collection was born.

,

Murmure Végétal ou comment est née la prochaine collection d'ARTIST.

At Artist Le Studio BF, collections never come about by chance.
They are often the result of long months of research, travel, encounters, and intuitions.

All year round, Brigitte and François search.
For new horizons.
For new emotions.
For new artists.

Always driven by the same desire: to create clothing that tells a story.
Ready-to-wear sewn with soul. An artistic story up to Art-à-Porter.

Throughout their tireless wanderings, they have sometimes stumbled upon treasures, sometimes even forgotten ones. The collection “Memory” presented in the summer of 25 was a striking example.

They were captivated by a textile archive dating back over a century.
A magnificent sketch unearthed by a stroke of luck, yet its modernity struck them.
The finesse of the line, the technique, the sensitivity… Everything seemed incredibly contemporary despite the time that had passed.

Starting from this discovery, they took on the challenge of reinterpreting this work from 1817 by giving it a new life. They managed to create a dialogue between the 19th century and today, updating the past, marrying yesterday and today, combining the creations of yesteryear with the inspiration of the moment.

It is exactly in this spirit that “Murmure Végétal” has germinated.

A pre-order range from June 19 to 28, with models to wear starting next October, time to produce them.

For several months now, this back-to-school collection has been taking shape.
Brigitte and François envisioned a soft, organic, poetic silhouette.
They aimed for something alive, a very feminine wardrobe to evoke nature without being literal.
The vegetal without folklore. The breath rather than the frame.

But they were still missing the spark!

Meanwhile, with their senses wide awake, they roamed the aisles of Milano Unica in Milan, Première Vision in Paris… Other decoration or design fairs like Maison & Objet.

( Visit in January 2026 Maison et Objet fair - trends forum )

And in each of these places, there are always those slightly hidden spaces that they know how to sniff out. Quieter, almost secret places that attract them. Corners that call to them, after walking for a long time, at the turn of a micro-break because their feet hurt!!

For nearly thirty years, they have been following the same method. Trade fairs, exhibitions, museums, everywhere they observe, detail, and gather. Scouring all the halls, all the aisles, scrutinizing every room without exception. Sometimes stepping away from the grand displays and the most visible spots. Methodically examining, scanning. Memorizing and creating.

Here lie confidential know-how, over there discreet artists exhibiting for the first time, on one side new ideas and on the other unexpected emotions.

This is often where upstream trades are found: creators, researchers, innovators, independent studios. Women and men, a fertile world of talents that breathes new life into the times.

And it is precisely in this way that a simple drawing, hung among many others, pulled them from their reflections. A halt! Immediately magnetized, the strange sensation that the next work was there.

A face-to-face with the free, vegetal, almost moving line they had been waiting for. A little something organic and delicate at the same time. A light and sensual vibration emanated from this silent poetry. Like a “Murmure Végétal.”

It clicked instantly. The contours, the volumes, the movement of the fabrics came to life, meaning, and form! The way this pattern could live on a woman's body, they sensed and embraced it.

In fact, an illustrator specializing in creating for textiles, decoration, and wallpapers designed this favorite pattern. A sensitive, meticulous, and extraordinarily aesthetic work.

However, this creator wished to remain anonymous. Not wanting her name to be placed in the foreground. This rare retreat, this destabilizing yet respectable humility adds an extra dimension to the story of this collaboration. Its echo resonates in Artist. It establishes a form of dialectic between the artist's erasure and the brand's exteriority, the elegance of the print, the strong character of the models.

In the background, behind her erased signature, we understand what this artisan expresses. The solidarity chain
of shared know-how, transmitted techniques, crossed gazes, and complicities.
Years of practice.
Hands.
Workshops.
Trades often invisible but incredibly precious.

ARTIST, initially taken aback, did not have to be convinced by this very personal, ethical, and symbolic decision. The Art-à-Porter brand welcomes this perspective as an expanded artistic freedom, a tribute to the entire professional sector.

“Murmure Végétal” was born this way.
From a spontaneous collective emotion.
From a confidential encounter at the turn of a fair. From the appreciation of a talent, from the consideration of a choice.

Escaping from paper, the work comes to life when its projection and colors bounce off the effects of materials.

Art becomes alive when it is worn daily by ARTIST women.

Artist La marque:
Bonjour,
