Launch of #LENOUVEAUMONDE production

Good morning,

I'm Cécile🏼, production manager at Artist.

Pre-orders for your “LE NOUVEAU MONDE” collection ended on May 23 at 8:00 p.m., and we thank you very much for ordering one or more pieces.

This collection was once again very well received, and it is a real pleasure to know that together we will bring this collection to life in the most beautiful way:

BY COLLABORATING 🤝

By pre-ordering, you finance your part directly from our suppliers. (a bit like an amap)

BY REDUCING OUR IMPACT 🧶

You have agreed to wait, and thanks to this, we can afford to produce only the quantities ordered, without waste, without overproduction (A slight surplus of 5% of pre-orders will be produced, for rare size exchanges )

RAISING AWARENESS

Until the beginning of September, we will comment on the main stages of production. You will thus be able to take a look behind the scenes in the production of your garment.

Let's go, here we go!

This is how production preparation works:

1st step:

First of all, I work on each of your orders in order to know the quantities to produce by reference and by size.🧐

The quantities sold of each piece are reviewed

2nd step:
Each item is then taken and analyzed down to the smallest detail to ensure that all the components are on the technical sheet of the garment.

It is essential not to forget anything when placing supplier orders because otherwise the entire collection will be delayed!

(Don’t worry, this never happened)

To have all these elements, I work in collaboration with our model maker Agnès.🦸🏽‍♀️

3rd step:

From all this information, I put together a table which lists all the components of each model (fabric, braids, buttons, zip, iron-on, etc.), then I enter the quantities ordered as well as the consumption of each component. 🧵

Below is an example of a supplier table

4th step:

Orders are then sent to each of our suppliers within 48 hours following the end of the sales session.

I then have to negotiate the right delivery time with each of them so that you are delivered as quickly as possible.

You should know that the production stage of a fabric and even certain accessories can take between 6 and 8 weeks.

Regular monitoring of suppliers is therefore essential to ensure that the announced delivery time is respected.

When I have the delivery dates confirmed by my suppliers, I contact our manufacturing workshop in order to set up our schedule.

I will come back to you for the next steps…

Beautiful day

Cecile
