The safari jacket is adjusted to the shoulders then, thanks to dart work on the front and back which makes it more feminine, it is structured so as to be also adjusted at the waist and pelvis.
KEY PIECE
The safari jacket from this Safari collection, inspired by the work of Thierry Boitier, is one of the flagship pieces of the collection. Obviously there is a modest nod to Yves Saint Laurent who in 1969 propelled this shape to the front of his fashion show and made it the success that we know it as.
PRINTED
We have worked enormously to respect and approach the effects that Thierry Boitier gives in his work. We made more than ten tests with our Italian printer before obtaining what we wanted. The safari jacket is printed in patterns placed in a single piece. We did not want any cuts between the parts but in sequences without breaking color zones.
MATTER
The fabric is cotton elastane in warp and weft with a slight relief. It is printed in a false plain to give the effects of textures, patinas and worked surfaces so advocated by the artist Thierry Boitier.
THE TOP PART
We took the more plain part with calligraphy and signs at the top of the safari jacket, a bit like a placed stripe. This placement required an enormous amount of work to coordinate between the printing files and the pattern.
PLACE
As explained above, we spent a lot of time on the printing areas, on the vegetation parts, but also on the calligraphies and all the material work expressed by Thierry Boitier. We wanted to find the right balance between faux plain and printed patterns that had to be placed with refinement.

The darker parts of vegetation are found on the bottom of the piece and on the bottom of the sleeves, the two being wedged between them.

Thanks to darts and cutouts on the front and back, the cut is well adjusted and feminine.
INNER DEFINITIONS
As the safari jacket is not lined, all interior seams are bound for a beautiful finish.
BUTTONS
The pretty buttons matching the tones of the fabrics are the same ones found on the pants and the cardigan. They are made of chiseled metal with a colored insert in the center.

The sleeve length is traditional with the possibility of cuffing since the bottom of the sleeve is lined with the same printed fabric as the pants. It’s always very practical if your arm is a little shorter.
POCHES POITRINE
Who says safari jacket, says pocket work with the right proportions while keeping the desired feminine side. Patch pockets with pretty finishes are positioned on the front at chest level.
